Tyler Simpson | Dumas, Arkansas Photographer

Tyler is one of the most driven individuals I’ve met. I just want to go ahead and start her blog with a list of her accomplishments/degrees:

Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (2017)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2018)
Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion (2018)
Certified Pediatric Nurse (2020)
Master of Science in Nursing (2020)
Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care (2021)

Wow. Just wow.

When we spoke about graduation and her upcoming future, she was a little nervous about the job market and finding the right job for her. I told her NO WORRIES SISTER!! I have no doubt that God will place Tyler exactly where she needs to be.

Hard work pays off, and I’m so honored that I could help her document such an important chapter in her story.

Tyler, simply put, you’re amazing.

Lane | Dumas, Arkansas Senior Photographer

Lane gave me the opportunity to shoot in a way that I haven’t done before. If you follow me on Tiktok (taradickson05) or Instagram (tdickson05) then you probably know what I’m talking about. If not, go add me and look. It’s probably one of the most exhilarating (and a little scary LOL) set-ups I’ve done! Definitely well worth it for the shot though!

Lane only had a few requests, which is the pose I spoke of earlier, and some shots out at the farm. Throw his cousin and girlfriend (who’s also my niece ❤ ) in, and it makes for a pretty perfect senior session!

Here are some favorites:

Raley | Dumas, Arkansas Senior Photographer

She’s quiet and gentle, yet has a fiery spirit about her. Raley is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and was total perfection throughout her senior session!

John Mark Singleton | Dumas, Arkansas Senior Photographer

Let’s just go ahead and talk about the obvious- this guys HAIR! I’ve been around a lot of women (myself included) who do not have hair this gorgeous! Oh, and you should have witnessed the wind blowing it…..
He grew it as a bet that he wouldn’t cut it from 9th grade until he graduated 12th grade. He’s definitely goin to make it!

Okay, okay, enough about John Marks hair.

This guy is a lover of anything and everything outdoors. Farming and the life it entails flows through his veins. There was no doubt where he wanted these taken- out at his family farm outside of Watson. We shot around the farm, then moved to a different area to capture his duck hunting shots. The wall art his mom and sister picked out will be an heirloom for years to come!

Seniors in the Snow | Dumas, Arkansas Senior Photographer

When the snow-apocalypse hit, it was a no-brainer that whenever the roads became drivable that my Street Team had to have a session. This sort of thing doesn’t happen often in southeast Arkansas, and the extent of what we received definitely is a once in a lifetime thing! The ones that were able to make it came and braved the cold weather, and looked cute doing it. We even had a few from the ’22 Street Team join us!

We survived without frostbite, although a few of the girls almost bit the dust by falling LOL! They didn’t, though, and caught themselves before hitting the ground. Since they were okay, we got a good laugh. Fun times were had and great memories were made. That’s what it’s all about- making their senior year memorable.
