Self Family

When I think of fall, I think of colors like cranberry, mustard yellow, and shades of brown and green.  Apparently Mrs. Dianne and I think alike, because those are the exact colors her family showed up in for their fall portrait session.  The evening was picture perfect for fall; cool and crisp, leaves falling on the ground and in every warm shade of color possible.  Throw in a gorgeous location and everything worked together in perfect harmony.

I am so excited to get to finally share these with everyone…..I’ve been anxious to since they were taken!  Thank you Mike, Dianne, Erin and Lane, for choosing me to take your fall family portraits!

Miles Family

Now that Christmas cards have been sent out, I can post these beautiful portraits of the Miles family!  I’ve been excited to share these since the day they were taken, because not only are they a photogenic family, but this mama put together outfits that were out of this world.  Some people just have ‘it’ when it comes to things like that, and Adrienne has ‘it’ for sure!  Thank you, Miles family, for the opportunity!  I know your portraits look amazing in your home!

Jordan Watson {Class of 2016}

Part one of Jordan’s Senior Session took place this summer, and let me tell you, it was hot AND humid.  Big surprise for Arkansas summers right?  Between make-up touch-up’s and air conditioning in the car, she made it through like a pro and didn’t complain one time.

Jordan loves softball, and even played for my dad a few years back.  When she booked with me, I was immediately excited to get creative with her softball shots and bring out her passion for the game through her images. Softball was my ‘thing’ back in the day (it makes me a little sad to even say that, because it means I’m getting old…..but it beats the alternative!) so since those days are gone for me, I get to bring back memories for myself through my seniors.

Part two of her Senior Session was over Thanksgiving break and we were a little worried about the fall colors fading so quickly.  When we arrived at the location and she got out of the car, I knew then that everything was falling right into place for her images to be absolutely gorgeous.  The colors (as you will see to follow) were as vibrant as ever and she planned outfits that worked so well with the settings.

Jordan, thank you for everything, and for allowing me to show everyone just how gorgeous you are!  I cannot wait to see your beautiful albums and Canvas collage!

Santa Claus Came to Town!

IMG_1530 copy

‘I Like it All’, a little boutique in Dumas, had their Christmas open house yesterday.  They sent a request all the way to the North Pole and asked Santa if he could take time out of his busy schedule to come see the kids, and of course, he came to town!  Once Santa confirmed, I was next on their call list, and I excitedly said YES!

I had the opportunity to spend two hours yesterday listening to your babies tell Santa exactly what they wanted him to bring them on Christmas morning.  Barbies, puppies, and ponies were among some of the requests, and one little charmer even sang ‘Santa Claus is coming to town’ to him.  He belted out a jolly laugh and gave her a tight hug, and I can almost guarantee you she will get whatever she asked for on Christmas morning lol!

If you haven’t been by this little store yet, please go!  It is full of mens and women clothing, jewelry, wall art/frames, and hand-made seasonal decorations.  ‘I Like it All’ is definitely a little jewel in the city of Dumas, Arkansas!

SO……below is the link to view the pictures taken yesterday, and they are all available for free download.  All that I ask is that you do a few things when/if you post them to your social media:

  1.  Tag Unlimited Photography & I Like it All
  2. Hashtag #unlimitedphotography & #ilikeitall
  3. If you haven’t ‘liked’ our pages on Facebook, please search our names and do so!

Thank you all so much for bringing your kids out yesterday!  It was an honor to serve my community!  Merry CHRISTmas!!

Emily Hughes {C/O 2016}

I can identify with Emily’s mom, because I too only have two children, so to watch her prepare to send her baby girl off into the world makes me a little weepy to think of the future with my boys.  I will say this though, Carolyn and her husband have raised two very respectful kids that any parents would be proud of.  Yes ma’am and No sir isn’t heard as much as it used to be, but you can be sure that you will hear it out of their two kids!

I was blessed with the opportunity to take Jerrod’s senior portraits a few years back, so now here is ‘little sister’ taking hers.  She chose to do the two-part Senior Session (one summer and one fall) so she could capture two different seasons.  This girl loves to laugh, has the most piercing blue eyes, and loved her papaw enough to bring a few of his most important things that he owned so she could have a few pictures done with them.  Though he is no longer with us, I know he has to be looking down with a big grin on his face when he sees her and the rest of his family.

Without further adieu, I present to you, Miss Emily Hughes
