Jennifer came to me all the way from Rison. She graduated early and plans to join the Army, where she plans to become a medic. This girl is DRIVEN! I wish I knew what I wanted like that when I was her age. I have no doubt she will accomplish everything she told me!
Let me also mention that she did her own make up, and it was flawless! She didn’t get a prom this year (like all the other high school students) due to the virus, and wanted to show off her gorgeous prom dress. That’s just what we did!
I’ve known Anna’s family for several years, so I can’t tell you how excited I was when they called to book her senior session with me. She’s so athletic- she plays both softball and basketball- and gives 110% to her teams. I think we got a great mix of both her ‘girly’ side, along with showcasing her sports.
Here are their favorites, that are going in a custom designed book!
It’s hard to believe Bailey is old enough to be a senior.
When I worked at Cornerstone Christian Academy, Bailey was only in junior high the first year I taught. She’s amazing at volleyball and basketball and has won many awards over her high school career in each sport.
She has grown into a gorgeous young woman, and has proved that any challenge that arises in her life, with God’s grace (and a little love from amazing family and friends), she can handle it.
These are Bailey and her family’s favorites from her session:
Abbey is probably the most athletic teen I’ve ever met. She is playing or has played almost every sport at her high school in DeWitt. Just listening to her tell her daily schedule has me tired, but one thing stands out to me about her…. Abbey gives 110% of herself to whatever she commits to. She goes and goes and though she may get tired, she continues to go so that she can fulfill her commitment and be the best she can possibly be. I have no doubt this carries into her academics as well!
She’s also super cute and has a sports car 😉 (what teen doesn’t dream of getting a sports car?!)
Abbey made my job easy. Here are some of her favorites:

Landon is a senior at Dewitt High School. When his mom booked his session and was describing him to me when we were planning, she said “he is a good kid, good heart, doesn’t require a lot of ‘things’, awesome 3 point shooter, has a sweet girlfriend, thoughtful and respectful.” Let me tell you, this kid lives up to every single thing his mama said. His love of basketball stands out, but one thing that shined even brighter than that is the love he had for his grandpa. See, Landon’s grandpa passed away a little while ago. He was one of Landon’s biggest fans. I heard stories of how his grandpa would load all of the older grandkids up and take them on road trips in his old ford truck. So many memories were made on those trips and I had the privilege of hearing a few of them.
Two things that Landon wanted to make sure he had in his senior portraits were his grandpa’s truck (with an image of him in the drivers seat just like the portrait they had of his grandpa) and his grandpa’s special shoes. These shoes weren’t just any old pair of shoes. Landon’s mama, Laura, said “They were the ugliest pair of shoes that daddy had, but he wore them to one of the older boys games and they won that night, so he decided after that that he would wear them to every single game he went to. Mama begged him not to wear them because they were so ugly, but he insisted and he did!” I’m so thankful I had the honor to pay tribute through my photography to such a great man. I may not have known him, but just the little bit I’ve heard speaks volumes of who he was and the love he had for his family. I feel like Landon is on that same path, with many great men in his life showing him by example of the man he needs to be.
